Auditions for 2011-2012 Have Begun http://www.MostlyMotets.com/Visitor/Membership/SanFrancisco/
Mostly Motets is now auditioning for the 2011-2012 season. We are looking for experienced singers who are passionate about sacred music from the Renaissance and Middle Ages. Auditions are being held for all parts.
Mostly Motets is a 10-14 voice SATB ensemble that sings a cappella works by popular High Renaissance composers (Tallis, Byrd, Victoria, Palestrina, etc.) as well as less-often performed earlier music (Dufay, Desprez, Fry, Ockeghem, chant, Middle English songs, etc.).
The ensemble usually rehearses twice a month on Sunday afternoons from 1:30 to 4:30, alternating between San Francisco and Berkeley. For more details or to arrange an audition, please see the membership page of our web site http://www.MostlyMotets.com/Visitor/Membership/SanFrancisco/ and email Auditions@MostlyMotets.com as soon as possible. Those who may be interested in singing with the group are also encouraged to attend the above performance on June 12th.
