“Baroque music influenced by the Italian style.” Baroque workshop faculty perform works demonstrating how the rich variety of Italian ideas, forms, and styles influenced baroque music in the furthest corners of Europe and in the works of great composers from Frescobaldi to Purcell, from Monteverdi to Bach.
