Dear Friends,

givetodayThank you for being a supporter of SFEMS!  Whether you are a donor, ticket buyer, or a workshop participant, you make it possible for SFEMS to present first-rate early music concerts and some of the best music education programs available anywhere.

As SFEMS approaches the end of our fiscal year, we ask you to help us meet our remaining fundraising goal of $25,000.  Earned income from concerts and workshops does not fully cover SFEMS’ operating expenses.  Please consider a gift today – it truly makes a difference in sustaining and strengthening SFEMS!

With your support, this season SFEMS:

  • Celebrated our 36th annual concert series, featuring promising new artists and some of the finest established early music ensembles in 3 different venues to more than 5,000 audience members.Manwalkd300 left copy
  • Will lead 6 summer workshops – Baroque, Medieval/Renaissance, Classical, Recorder, and Music Discovery for Children – to be attended by approximately 250 music-lovers of all ages.
  • Provided fiscal and operational support for 40 professional and amateur ensembles through our affiliate program.
  • Hosted our first annual “Sustaining Donor” concert at the home of Michele and Kwei Ü, at which Davitt Moroney played a delightful harpsichord program of Music for the Sun King for approximately 25 donors.  We hope you will consider joining the next intimate concert that SFEMS hosts by donating $500 or more.
